Gabion wall
VolverProject carried out by Arkitec and materials supplied by Arisac.
In this project the gabions were used, a new and substitute product of the old walls made by hand or of concrete.
Gabion walls are a great solution for buildings because they have a high drainage capacity, are flexible, do not require any maintenance and are very quick to install since they do not need work, they do not have the same visual impact as a large concrete wall and at the same time they are decorative, since we can fill them with any type of ornamental stone.
As we see in this gabion wall, it has great aesthetic value. It was also built in just one day, something unlikely in other types of buildings.
It is also a retaining wall, and ensures the garden of possible landslides of the mountain.
